Obituary for Norma Lee Grace

Norma Lee Grace was born March 14, 1932 in Tylertown, MS to the late Theodore and Arsula Ball Magee. She united with Magee�s Creek Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Mrs. Grace moved to Biloxi, MS and joined in union with the late Jenkin Grace and later united with Tabernacle Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Ames Dickey which is now New Community Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John Guy. Mrs. Grace served on the Deaconess Board, President of the Senior Women Mission, and was a devoted choir member. Mrs. Grace loved God, her family, her church, and her community. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Magee, her husband, Deacon Jenkin Grace, 3 brothers, Hampton, Calemase, and Theodore Magee, 3 sisters, Irma Jean James, Alfredo Tyson, and Octoria Magee, one grandson, Gary Magee, and one great grandson. Mrs. Norma Lee Grace's life will be remembered by a loving family who will always cherish her memories, 5 daughters, Ms. Hilda Magee, Ms. Gussie Magee, and Mrs. Jenkins(James) Rainey, all of Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Helen (James) Alexander of Augusta,GA and Mrs. Mary Gipson of Montgomery, AL, two sons, Derek Grace of Augusta, GA and James Grace of Biloxi, MS. Three sisters, Annette Wesley of Central, FL, Martha Jackson of Detroit, MI and Victoria Magee of Springfield, LA, 24 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She also leaves 3 kind-hearted loving friends, Angelina Stewart, Eddie Mae Smith, both of Biloxi, MS and Ruby Bradford of D�Iberville, MS. Mrs. Grace was a loving, kind, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Mrs. Grace will be Saturday, June 30, 2012. Visitation is at 10am and Service at 11am at New Community Baptist Church in Biloxi, MS. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
