In Loving Memory of Eli Scott Uebel

It is with deep sorrow and profound grief that we announce the passing of our precious baby boy, Eli Scott Uebel, on July 5, 2026. Eli weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Though Eli’s time with us was far too short, his life has forever touched the hearts of his family. Our greatest comfort is knowing that Eli is safe in the arms of Jesus. We hold tightly to our faith and to the promise that this goodbye is not forever, and we look forward to the day when we will see our beautiful boy again.

As a family, we continue to press into the peace and strength that only the Lord can provide. We will heal together, lifting and carrying one another through the days ahead. Through unimaginable sorrow, our family remains united in love and faith, holding one another closer and stronger now than ever.

Eli is deeply loved and forever cherished by his parents, Maxwell Thomas Uebel and Sarah Elizabeth Long Uebel, and his big brother, Noah Maxwell Uebel, age 2.

He is also lovingly remembered by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Gina Uebel; his maternal grandparents, Scott and Julie Long; his paternal aunt, Kala Uebel; and his maternal aunts and uncles, Jason and Heather Long Vessely, Heidi Ellis, Serena Frost, and Scott Ross Long.

Eli is also remembered with love by his cousins, Dana and Daniel Burton; Elijah and Sophie Vessely; LizBeth Ellis; and Jack, Violet, and Lily Frost, along with the many family members and loved ones whose hearts have been forever touched by his precious life.

In celebration of Eli, the funeral will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Restoration Church, Robert, Louisiana. All are invited to join us for a time of fellowship and remembrance immediately following the service at 43225 S. Coburn Loop, Hammond, LA 70403.

Eli Scott Uebel will always be our beautiful boy—deeply loved, forever remembered, and held safely in the arms of Jesus until we meet again.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
