Erica Faye Lafayette Grace

Erica Faye Lafayette-Grace, a resident of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026.  Erica was born in Pascagoula, MS, on August 25, 1985, the daughter of Debra Faye “Cookie” Lafayette and Willie Casey, Sr., and was one of six siblings.

Erica was a life-long resident of Ocean Springs, MS, and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, MS.

She is survived by a loving and dedicated husband, Dwayne Grace, of Moss Point, MS, one son, Marcellus Lafayette, of Ocean Springs, MS, and two daughters, Ladymein Lafayette, and Cashay Lafayette, both of Ocean Springs, MS.

Erica was a dedicated and devoted woman of God. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She had a heart of gold to give, embrace, strengthen and encourage. She instilled love in everyone that crossed her path and wanted everyone to love and live life to the fullest, which is the promise of God’s word.

Erica leaves to cherish her memories to her loving husband of 6 years, Dwayne Grace; mother, Debra Faye “Cookie” Lafayette; father, Willie Casey, Sr.; son, Marcellus Lafayette, two daughters, Ladymein and Cashay Lafayette; three sisters, Roshell Hollins, Veronica Howard, Latonya Delaine; two brothers, Willie Casey, Jr. and Eric Lafayette; seven nephews, six nieces and a host of other relatives and close friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 am, at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
