Trehvis Fitzgerald Foster

Pastor Trehvis Fitzgerald Foster was born on December 4, 1964 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Antoinette and Charles J. Foster III. He was the second of seven brothers and sisters. He was raised and educated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Trehvis received Christ as his personal savior at the age of 24 in his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Mason Temple C.O.G.I.C. After receiving Christ, he diligently served his pastor and church with great fervor. After four years of service at his home church, God led him to leave everything and everyone that he knew, to move away to a place where he would learn all about the call of God upon his life. He moved to Gulfport, MS, where he served in numerous capacities under the leadership of Bishop Woods of Word of Power Ministries for six years. Trehvis was ordained as an Elder in 1998 from Word of Power Ministries. God again led him to leave the familiar place of Gulfport and return to Milwaukee. In February of 2000 he was ordained as an elder as well as received his Pastoral Appointment from the Northwest Jurisdiction of the C.O.G.I.C. He then established a church called Higher Heights Ministries and later with a name change entitled Spoken Word Christian Center (SWCC). The family moved back to Gulfport and joined Word of Faith Christian Center under the leadership of Dr. Burt where he served faithfully for 2 years. He was led by the Lord to attend Nicholson Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Superintendent Clark. Elder Foster served faithfully with gladness. In about a year and a few months God led him to start a church. He proudly started Landmark C.O.G.I.C. Pastor Foster served the Lord in excellence and with great joy. Trehvis leaves to cherish his memories his wonderful wife, Deidra E. Foster (Dede), his two sons, Jacob A. Foster and Chandler J. Foster, and one daughter, Lindsay D. Foster of Gulfport, MS. His mother, Antoinette Davis, stepfather, Connie Davis, three brothers, Charles Foster IV, MJohno Foster and Chandler Brown, three sisters, Xandria Brooks, London Hickman and Constance Kennedy all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also leaves his memories to an endless amount of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and endless amounts of friends and constituents.
