Ted Michael Weaver

Ted Michael Weaver was tragically called home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday 6 December 2023.  Words overflow like a fountain for Mike, husband, father, grandfather-“Great” and friend who lived a beautifully poetic life from start to end.  Mike shared an amazing legacy with “his Karen” reaching the rare height of 50 years of love, laughter and tears.  He was 72 years young.  Mike is survived by his son, Wade Weaver and his wife Rhonda, and daughter Charlotte Gale and her husband Oscar, his beloved grandchildren Alexia, Jacob, Savannah, Isa, Gabriel and Zoie, and his sister Renee Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents Larnel Lee Weaver and Gertrude Snow Murphy, his beloved wife, Karen, his brothers Anthony and Authur “Wayne” Weaver, and his sister Charlotte Bernice Weaver.

Mike was born July 3rd., 1951 in Marrero, LA., and lived on the West Bank of New Orleans with short stops serving his country in Vietnam, around Fort Gordon, Georgia, and Fort Hood Texas.

Mike enjoyed life to the fullest and was always willing to help those in need.  He loved to find a better way, and freely shared his thoughts and insights with those around him.  Those that truly knew him instantly loved him.  He enjoyed his puppies, family, the outdoors, a good game of pool, competition and life itself.  He accepted others into his home with open arms.

Mike will be deeply missed by all those that he’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this loss. He was one of a kind and to be loved by him was to be truly blessed.
