Robert E. Holt

Robert E. Holt, Sr., of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, in Forest Park, Georgia, at the age of 53. He was born on June 17, 1968, to Robert Kelley and Patricia Holt in Gulfport, Mississippi.

“Rabbit,” as he was affectionately known by many, was a truck driver for over twenty years. He was a giving person, and he loved fishing and cooking. He enjoyed cruising the coast, listening to his music, and he cherished his grandbabies: Holla Holla, Papa Baby, Yummy Yo, Diamond, Elizabeth and Big Baby. He was a person of many jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Kelley and Patricia Holt.

His comical spirit will be missed by: his lifelong companion of thirty-five years, Dawn Smith; two brothers, Willie Holt and Anthony Kelley; one sister, Monique Lampley; two sons, Robert Holt, Jr., and Richard Smith; one daughter, Crystal Smith; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
