Phawnta Nichole Avery, 39, a resident of Alhambra, California, passed away August 15, 2022, at her home from natural causes. 

She was born in Biloxi, MS, August 18, 1982, the daughter of Temica Davis. Phawnta attended and graduated from Biloxi High School in 2000. Phawnta furthered her education receiving a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Human Resources. 

Phawnta spent her working career in Human Resources providing services to the homeless. Phawnta loved volunteering at her church and in the community, drawing, and fashion.

Phawnta is survived by her mother, Temica Davis, and her brother Malachi Davis. Phawnta also leaves to cherish her memories of host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and a niece and nephew. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Infinity Funeral Home at 11:00 am.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
