Pastor B.T. Natson, Jr.

October 21, 1946 — February 18, 2018

Pastor B.T. Natson, Jr.

Pastor B.T. Natson was born October 21, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Booker T. Natson, Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth Chisholm. He was the 1st born to this union. Pastor Natson received his formal education at Saint Mary’s Catholic School, Alfred E. Beach Sr. High School and the then Savannah State College. In 1964 he enlisted in the United States Army were he volunteered on several occasion to go to Vietnam but the prayers of his mother diverted that and he was sent to Germany. Pastor B. T. Natson accepted the Lord in 1972, as his personal savior at Savannah Deliverance Center, serving under the late Chief Apostle, Charles Wilkerson. It was there where he was ordained and gave his initial sermon. He was also very instrumental in evangelizing throughout Georgia and Whitehouse North Carolina where numerous young people gave themselves to the Lord. In 1997, by the direction of the Holy Spirit he moved to Gulfport, MS where the Lord guided him to Evangelistic Crusaders COGIC in 1999. His beginnings at the ministry were humble. Many shared how he would sit in the back of the church, testifying and singing praises to the Lord. He served under Elder Willie Williams until 2005. In 2006, he became Pastor of Evangelistic Crusaders Ministries and remained faithfully until 2009. In October of 2009 he founded New Life Worship Center, Inc. (which was actually founded and established in May of 2005). Pastor Natson was a humble servant of God, he accepted his charge to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone he came in contact with. His knowledge of God’s word was immeasurable and his ability to pray and communicate with the Lord profound. Pastor Natson truly enjoyed his walk with the Lord and the fellowship with the saints. He was the type of man who never met a stranger, affectionately known as the smiling, preaching plumber. Pastor Natson was a Licensed Master Plumber and the owner and sole proprietor of Natson Plumbing and Repairs since 2005. On February 18, 2018, Pastor B.T. Natson went from labor to reward. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Toni Jackson Natson; three daughters; Rachel Nicole (Jammie) Silvers of Raleigh, North Carolina; Kimberly Natson of Atlanta Georgia; Tia Jackson of Shelton, CT; two sons Warren (Amneris) Ross of Newington, CT; and Quintin Ross of Miami FL; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Destiny, Joy, Jahmarhi, Tatiana, Kalyn, Zion, Josiah, Aniyah and Xavier.
