Odell Anthony Hughes, Jr.

Odell Anthony Hughes, 47, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away, Sunday, February 3, 2019, with his family by his side. He was born in Biloxi, December 8, 1971, the son of Odell Hughes, Sr., and Carrie Parker Hughes. Odell, also known as “Boo Boo” was a graduate of Gulfport High School and enjoyed spending time with family and his many friends. Odell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Parker, and Carrie Lee Pritchett and Leola Thomas; his parents Odell Sr., and Carrie Hughes, one sister, LaSonya M. Hughes and his son, Marquries Tucker. Odell is survived by two sisters, LaTasha Hughes and Jasmine Hughes, both of Biloxi; his fiance, Tocha Smith; thirteen children, Carvell Glispy, Nyri Rainey, JaNaisa S. Kemp, Shakerrinay Gary, Antavius Kemp, Tyrik Frazier, Lakhia T. Kemp, Onche` Driona Hughes, Zantayja Hughes, Jayden Xavier Bates, JaDarian Anthony Hughes, DeShawn Bolling, Marissa Gholar; and one grandson, Ze’Merion Anthony Glispy; two aunts, Janice Shelby Barnes and Lolita Booth; and a host of other relatives and special friends. Boo Boo loved his cousins, The Bingham, Kemp and Barnes families, like siblings. He will be forever in our hearts and memories.
