Odell O. Hughes

Mr. Odell Otha Hughes, a resident of Biloxi, MS; passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at his home. He was born in Biloxi, MS on January 18, 1943 to Leola Thomas. Odell attended M.F. Nichols High School and was a proud graduate of the school. Odell was married to Carrie Hughes on July 15, 1971. Always a hard worker, Odell spent his working career at the Grand Casino in the housekeeping department and later worked as a member of the Senior Companion program. Odell was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Odell A. Hughes; two daughters, Latasha Hughes and Jasmine Hughes and twelve grandchildren and a god-sister, Alice Brown. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in the chapel of Richmond-August Funeral Home, 184 Main St., Biloxi, MS. Inquiries: 228.436-6722
