Money Eleeyce Moyer Jensen was born on June 14, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Melvin Moyer and Jane Foster. A woman of faith with a generous heart and an unmistakable presence, Money lit up every room she entered. She was an unstoppable force who loved deeply, gave freely, and fiercely protected the people she loved.
Employed as a banker with Regions, Money brought that same warmth and personality to her relationships. Nurturing by nature, she was a protective “mama bear” whose care extended to family, friends, and even strangers. She was quick to pray with someone in need and ready to offer encouragement. Her compassion came with a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor that earned her the affectionate description of a “female Samuel L. Jackson.”
Money enjoyed comedy shows, concerts, and music of every kind. She loved traveling, especially cruising, and her adventures took her to London, the Dominican Republic, Miami, New York for Fashion Week, and the California coast. She looked forward to exploring Europe, but no matter how far she traveled, Pittsburgh always felt most like home.
Her love of fashion included designer shoes, bags, and scarves, and she delighted in treating her sisters to special purchases as well. She was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, loved Corvettes, and found joy in nature. Above all, she took great pleasure in being a devoted dog mom to Dobby.
A fan of fantasy, Money enjoyed Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. She also loved writing and was planning to begin a screenplay, giving another outlet to her imagination and creativity.
Money was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Foster; and her little sister, Kenisha Knight. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Melvin Moyer (Carol); four sisters, Angela (Daniel), DeLace, Jasmin (John), and Maya; three nephews and four nieces; her dearly loved fiancé, Ben Pratt, and his daughters, Samantha and Madison; her friend and roommate, Adrian Glover; and a host of extended family and friends.
Her generosity, humor, faith, and fierce love will remain with those who knew her.
