Lionell C. Davis

Mr. Lionell C. Davis was born on October 14, 1947, in Bay St. Louis, MS to the late Mr. William D. Davis and Mrs. Ruth R. (lovie) Robinson Davis.  He was the oldest of three sons and he loved his family very much.

He was Publisher at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bay St. Louis, MS.

He attended Valena C. Jones High School where he graduated on May 22, 1967.  He retired from Keesler Air Force Base of 35 years.

Brother Lionell passed away on June 30, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospice in Gulfport, MS.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, one daughter Jennieke Ramone Hartfield, one grandson Charles Edward Rice Jr. (Port Arthur, TX).

Two brothers, Therrel (Joetta) Davis and Thurman (Hae Suk) Davis of Bay St. Louis, MS, one aunt, Etta Williams of Bay St. Louis, MS and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Valena C. Jones United Methodist Church, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
