“I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25–26
Kenny L. Gilmore, Jr., affectionately known as “Lil Kenny,” was born on March 25, 1999, to Tiquana Price and Kenny L. Gilmore, Sr. On January 17, he peacefully answered his Master’s call at his home in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Lil Kenny was preceded in death by his grandfather, James “BayBoy” Price; his uncle, Darrius Morris; and his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

Driven and ambitious, Kenny, Jr. earned his associate degree in welding, achieving recognition on the President’s List. He went on to build a successful career as a traveling first-class welder, a profession that allowed him to showcase his skill, discipline, and determination.
Beyond his accomplishments, Lil Kenny will be remembered for the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. He was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and loved unwinding with video games after a long day’s work.
