James “Jim” Singleton, 80, a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away, on Monday, January 29, 2024. He was born in Tylertown, MS on January 14, 1944. Jim retired from Mississippi Power Company after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Green and Dixie Singleton of Tylertown, MS; wife, Gennette Thomas Singleton of Biloxi, MS; son Terry Singleton of Biloxi, MS; brother Vody D. Singleton of New Orleans, LA; and sister Annie Ruth Stewart of Biloxi, MS.

He is survived by his two sons Bernard (Katherine) Singleton of Jackson, MS and Amando (Tanisha) White of Pensacola, FL; three step-children Susan, Sharon and Jermaine Thomas of Biloxi, MS; two brothers Mr. LoVern (Shirley) Singleton of Pontiac, MI and Mr. Jerry Singleton of Tylertown, MS, and sister Mrs. LaDoris Smith of New Orleans, LA; fourteen grandchildren Tiara, Ashton, and Taylor Singleton; Ava White; Eric, Erieonna, and Demetrius Thomas; ShaMyia, Derrion, and Desmon Thomas; Gennette and Tayvon Thomas; and Prince Washington; close friend Cynthia Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation and Prepass will start at 10:00 am.
