Jackie Gene Benton, Sr.

Jackie Gene Benton, 64, passed away September 11, 2013 at his home in Biloxi. Jackie spent his whole life in the Heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. A "jack of all trades," he spent many years doing maintenance and repair work for companies along the the Coast. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and strong love for the New Orleans Saints. Jackie is survived by his mother, Deloris Benton; 2 sons, Jackie Benton, Jr. (Tiffany), Robert Benton (Crystal), 3 brothers, Bruce Benton (Rhonda), Dale Benton (Susan), Paul Fountain; 6 grandchildren, Alexis Benton, Lindsey Benton, Tabitha Benton, Dylan Benton, Victoria Meyer and Freddie Meyer; 3 nieces, Rebecca, Christina and Kayla; and 2 nephews Clayton and Caleb. Memorial services for Jackie will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Fountain Cemetery; 15501 Yuma Avenue in Biloxi, Mississippi. The family of Mr. Jackie Gene Benton, Sr. has entrusted his care to the professional staff of RICHMOND-AUGUST FUNERAL HOME.
