Hollis Douglas Green, known to many as a quiet and gentle giant, passed away surrounded by love and peace. A man of few words, Hollis believed that when something needed to be said, it only needed to be said once. His calm presence, steady strength, and unwavering kindness were deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Hollis enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—especially his passion for classic cars and the art of auto detailing. Whether he was restoring a vintage vehicle or polishing a finish to perfection, he found joy in the craftsmanship and beauty of each automobile. His attention to detail reflected the care and pride he carried into every part of his life.

Family and friends will gather to honor Hollis’ life on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Park View Baptist Church in Gautier, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, where he will be laid to rest with dignity.

Hollis’ gentle spirit, loyal heart, and quiet wisdom will be forever treasured and remembered.
