Sister Gussie Mae Moffett was born December 24, 1922 to the late Jim and Mattie Magee of Mount Olive, Mississippi. On May 6, 2011 in Gulfport, MS the Lord saw the need to call her home. Gussie was a long time resident of the Gulf Coast and a devoted housewife for forty years. She was a devoted member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she served until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Moffett, sons Billy Ray Magee, Eddie Moffett, Jr., daughter Ellen Long, brothers, J.D. Magee, Willie D. Magee, Elzria Magee and sisters, Gladys Magee, Elnora Magee, and Ruby Mae Magee. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Nettie (Bobby) Brown of Taylorsville, Linda (Alvin) Wells, Willie (Dock) Robinson, and Peggy (Bobby) Darden of D'Iberville; sons James (Marilyn) Moffett of Gulfport, Johnnie (Mary) Moffett of Mobile, Alabama, Tommy (Debera) Moffett of Vicksburg, Calvin Moffett and Joseph Moffett of D'Iberville, twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. Arrangements were entrusted to Richmond-August Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS
