Gary Lounzell Black, 68, departed this earthly life on July 27, 2021. He passed away at his home and was surrounded by his loving wife, Regina. He was born on December 07, 1952, in Havana, FL to Lewis and Adele (Mingo) Black.
Gary attended Jackson State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He was an avid fan of The Sonic Boom of the South, The Jackson State University’s Marching Band. Throughout the years, he had several accomplishments, such as his high school choir “cutting two albums”, as he loved to say. However, his most prized accomplishment was being a father.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Adele Black. Gary is survived by his wife, Regina; two children, Jason, and Dr. Tiffany (Evan) Andry; three stepchildren, Narvin (Laurie), Justin, and Rashonna; loving grandsons, Tyler and Denari; a loving goddaughter, Kristin; two brothers, Bishop James (Bobbie) and Jerry; three sisters, Diane, Betty, and Sharon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Gary will be held on Wednesday, August 04, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Tabernacle of Praise in Biloxi, MS. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Cruthirds Cemetery.
