Mr. Freddie (Nick, FJ) Lee Jones, was born November 17, 1965, in Gulfport, MS to the late Mr. Dan Jones, Sr. and Mrs. Ada Mae Webster Jones. Freddie was a master carpenter by trade. He spent twenty-plus years working for Roy Anderson Construction Company before traveling to several states working for CB&I as a Forman, and with Cajun Industries. Due to the pandemic, Freddie returned home and started his own company, F&M Construction. Freddie loved his family, loved to joke around, and enjoyed life. He was a hard worker, a loving husband, a compassionate father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Freddie was preceded in death by a baby daughter and his son, Pierre Jones; his father Dan Jones, Sr., mother Ada Mae Webster Jones, step-mother Lillie Mae Jones, and two step-brothers. Freddie leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Marjorie Hosley Jones of Gulfport, MS; five sons: Jermaine (Chelsey) Durr, Freddie (Jalisa) Durr, Demetrius Jones, Jamon Jones, Jarius Baker all of Gulfport, MS; two daughter: Samonia (Andrew) Barnes and Breanne Jones, both of Gulfport, MS.; his beloved grandchildren: Xavior Harper, MaKayla Evans, Khenadi Johnson, Faith Durr, Amare Durr, Aiden Durr, Abel Durr, Amelia Durr, Jasmine Barnes, Jamon Jones, Jr., Pierre Gonzalez, Jayden Lavato, Taylor Brinson, London Jones, Demetrius Jones, Jr., Bryan Hosley, Kayla Jones, and Khole Jones; Five brothers: Samuel (Beulah) Webster, of Montgomery, AL, Isaiah Webster, Jimmie Jones, Dan (Tonya) Jones, Kenneth Jones of Gulfport, MS.; Three sisters: Barbara Manora, Gladys Smith and Ada Jones all of Gulfport, MS; two step brothers: Larry (Gloria) Underwood of Pensacola, FL and Avis (Carol) Frieghtman of Jacksonville, FL; one step-sister: Lillie (Kenny) Bester of Gulfport, MS; Three step-sons: Sydrec (Crystal) Raymon, Chiron (Robbie) Hosley of Gulfport, MS, Kenneth (Erica) Jones of Metairie, LA.; two uncles: Author (Annie) Webster and Melvin (Claudia) of Detroit, MI.; one aunt: Eddie Mae Davis, of Detroit, MI.; and a host of nephews, nieces, close relatives, friends, and co-workers. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11:00 am at Empowerment Ministries Christian Center. Visitation will start at 9:30 am Repast will be at Gaston Community Center immediately following the burial.
