Esterine Fillmore, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Born on September 12, 1952, in Biloxi, Mississippi, she was known for her nurturing spirit and dedication to her community.
Esterine devoted 35 years of her life to the food service at Austin and Associates on Keesler Air Force Base, where she served in the dining hall. Throughout her career, she developed a special bond with the troops, becoming a motherly figure to many who frequented the dining hall. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Esterine graduated from M.F. Nichols High School, where she showcased her talents as a majorette, a role that she cherished and remembered fondly. Her education and experiences shaped her into the strong woman that she was, filled with passion and love for those around her.

Esterine remained devoted to the memory of her husband, James, until her passing - a true testament to the strength of their bond.
Esterine was a dedicated member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Rev. AA Dickey. She continued her spiritual journey by attending New Community Baptist Church, remaining an active participant until her health began to decline.
