Douglas Rupert

Douglas Rupert was born April 16. 1958 to the late Mr. Willie Rupert,Sr., and Mrs. Dorothy Rupert. He departed this earthly home on Sunday, November 17, 2013 to be with his Father in Heaven. Douglas was a lifelong resident of Gulfport, MS. Douglas was a loving Son, Brother, Uncle, and a true friend. He never met a stranger and truly was a friend to all. Above all, Douglas was a protector of his family and �Uncle Doug� loved the kids! He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Willie Rupert, Sr., two brothers, Willie Rupert, Jr., and Keith Rupert and a sister, Sherilyn Faye Watson; paternal grandparents, Mr. Tommy and Magnolia Rupert, and maternal grandparents, Mr. Louis and Bessie Whitley. Douglas leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Mrs. Dorothy Rupert; two sisters, Janice Rupert and Tammy Rupert both of Gulfport, MS; one god-sister, Linda Chambers of San Francisco, CA; two brothers, Kenneth Rupert of Gulfport, MS; and Fredrick Rupert of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
