Dorothy Faye Smith

Dorothy Faye Smith, 71, a resident of Biloxi, MS, passed away on March 15, 2022.

Ms. Dorothy was born and raised in Starkville, MS, by her grandmother Mama Rogers.

Ms. Dorothy was full of life and enjoyed making people laugh and playing bingo. She was very creative and gifted in sewing that she made her own clothes. Her laugh and sense of humor will definitively be missed.

Ms. Dorothy was a graduate of Starkville High School and received her associates degree from Jeff Davis Community College. She worked at Biloxi Regional for years as a medical secretary.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and Mama Rogers. She is survived by her siblings William Cotton. Brian Cotton, Elliott Cotton, June Cotton, Brenda Cotton, Lawrence Cotton and John Cotton all of New York.

Her five children Ben Smith. Carolyn Jasmin, Angela Smith, Joseph Smith, and Shaddy Smith. A special cousin Shaddy Bell Venson and a special niece Evelyn Strickland. Sixteen grandchildren and 2great grandchildren, and many family members and friends.

Services will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am.  Visitation will start at 10:00 am.
