David Lee Woods

Mr. David "Woodsy" Woods, 60, of Gulfport, passed away April 25, 2016. He was born in Gulfport, MS, December 25, 1955, the son of Youla C "Pretty-Pretty" and Mildred Woods Brown. He graduated from Syracuse High School in New York. David was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Brown Buckley; his father, Eddie Brown; his sister, Betti Ann Woods; and his brother, Chris Brown. David leaves to cherish his memories his significant other, Dale Lacy; three brothers, Michael (Violet) Brown, Eddie (Pam) Brown, and Dennis (Cathy) Brown, all of Gulfport; three sisters, Debra Dennis of Gulfport, Janet (Bernard) Jenkins of University Place, WA, and Tammy Hart of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Kimberly Woods of Memphis, TN; one granddaughter, Keana Smith, University of Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
