Clyde Vincent Groves

Clyde Vincent Groves was born May 24, 1970, to Fester Groves, Sr. and Bettie Lou Groves in Memphis, TN, but was raised his entire life in Gulfport, MS. He was a faithful member of Haven Chapel United Methodist Church and dedicated his life to putting smiles on the faces of others. Art was his passion and he loved to see the "Wow" that it brought out of those he blessed with it. He didn't have any children of his own but he loved helping all that he came in contact with. He also loved his mama. He loved her more than any person could love another; even as his health began to fail, he was more concerned with her wellbeing than his own. Clyde was preceded in death by his dad, Fester Groves, Sr. and his best friend, Michael Barkum. He leaves behind his mama, Bettie Lou Groves, Five brothers: Fester Groves, Jr., Larry Groves, Fredrick Groves, Timothy Groves(Latonya), and Tory Groves(Felicia). Five sisters: Carol Fontelroy (Mark), Melessia Ramie (Wade), Valerie Malone (Troy), Keisha Groves and Fatima Boyd (Antonio). He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his extended family, Matt and Rachel Powell, Leon Jamison, Jennifer Beyer- Hathaway, and Jeff Isabell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Richmond August Funeral Home.
