Andell Magee

Mr. Andell Magee was born on September 10, 1959, to the late Evan “Hop” Harper and Matilda Harper in Collins, Mississippi. Mr. Magee dedicated 25 years of his life to working offshore for PMI, from which he later retired. His spirit will live on through the knowledge, wisdom, and countless memories he imparted to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorie Magee; his father, Evan Harper; his mother, Matilda Harper; and his sisters, Sheila Magee and Rosena Bester.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Don’te McLaurin; seven brothers, James Magee of Erie, Pennsylvania; Douglas (Dorothy) Magee of Mount Olive, Mississippi; William (Bobbie) Magee of Bassfield, Mississippi; Johnnie (Angela) Harper of Bassfield, Mississippi; Emmit Harper of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Eddie Magee of Bassfield, Mississippi; and Michael (Denise) Magee of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Bonnie Frith and Margreat Pittman of Bassfield, Mississippi; two aunts, Annie Mae Duckworth of Mount Olive, Mississippi, and Mary Helen Wheeler of New Orleans, Louisiana; a host of nephews and nieces; and two close friends, James Booth and Alvin Arnold.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 1:00 pm, at Infinity Funeral Home Chapel.
